When Iranian football fans ‘organize’ the way Russian Russian sports journalists dress

Football fans in Iran have offered advice on clothing for Russian female journalists who will be performing at the 2018 World Cup draw in Moscow.

Maria Komandnaya, one of the hosts on December 1, was asked to dress modestly so that audiences in Iran could follow the show without censorship.
When Komandnaya announced that he would be involved in the event, along with the soccer host Gary Lineker, there were many comments addressed to him about proper attire.

In one of the Russian comments that wrote back to Instagram’s uploads, “I’m Iranian, our television rules are very strict and censor your photos. If possible, can you choose a proper outfit for the show so we can watch it?”
Iranian football fans are worried that they will not be able to watch some parts of the event when Komandnaya performs in front of the screen, due to the strict rules of broadcasting in the country.
State television in Iran often broadcast footage of international football matches instead of broadcasting live matches in order not to show female audiences.

In addition, government-owned stations refuse to broadcast the World Cup drawing or the Olympic opening ceremony in its entirety if one of the hosts is a woman dressed in a dress.

At the FIFA World Cup in 2014, Iranian television cut many parts of the live broadcast because of the open clothes of the Brazilian television host.”My sister, be careful with your hijab, we also want to watch uncensored drawing events,” wrote @ alifarajizadeh in his Persian commentary on Instagram.
While others say, “I ask you to avoid wearing sexy underwear in the event so we can watch it completely We can not see if you wear open clothes.”
Twitter users also convey the same thing.
