Benitez Jair D 80,000.00 – He is 34 and his game is starting to dip. I hate to say it but it might be time to part ways. I look for Jair to be gone in the January transfer window.
Castillo Fabian F 56,250.00- Fabian came to MLS with incredible hype. Sadly for him his play never lived up to what was expected of him. Good news for Dallas, this will probably keep him around and he can still develop into the player we think he can be. Speed kills, but not finishing kills more.
Ferreira David M-F 705,000.00 – There comes a time when you have to admit that it’s time to rebuild an organization. The Cowboys struggled for years to admit this and held on to dead weight. Now, is David Ferreira dead weight…No. However, if he gets hurt one more time it’s probably going to be career ending. He is already in his last years and without the right cast around him he isn’t going to be David of 2010 again. I’m sorry, but with his salary taking up that much cap room…offer him a lower salary or look to move him on. If we keep him for that price, plus his bonuses, we are idiots.
Goncalves Jackson D 141,375.00- My opinion, Jackson is being paid the right amount and still has potential to be a great starting 11 player. I feel he is moved all over the pitch, and with the constant changes in the lineup he struggles to settle in. However, we all know that this guy is a playmaker. You want playmakers on your team! Leave this guy alone and let him go into the offseason working as a starter.
Guarda Bruno M 75,000.00- mid level player who’s been unable to break into the bench squad often enough to keep for what he’s being paid, trade bait I feel he has been given his chances to shine. Bruno may have a soccer career still ahead of him. Sadly it’s not gonna happen here in Dallas.
Hartman Kevin GK 185,000.00- Duh, Kevin calls his own quit. Kevin Hartman willing to play for that salary and continues to play at the level he plays…leave this guy alone. Kevin Hartman still has 3 seasons at minimum left.
Hedges Matt D 59,000.00- Your CB of the future! Matt Hedges is flat out quality. This is someone that you build a back line around.
Hernandez Daniel M-D 75,000.00- Daniel has done so much for this club. I look forward to seeing him as one of our coaches.
Hernandez Moises D 46,600.00 -not sure he’s ready for first team action, loan to USL side would be a great sight to see. A loan anywhere that will give him some first team action would be great. I don’t want us to part ways with him just yet. He still has so much potential.
Ihemelu Ugo D 190,000.00- Pending his health Ugo will be back, and hopefully remain captain. Ugo is straight quality and a great asset to this club. Ugo and Hedges in the back will help the steps in building us back into a powerhouse. If Ugo’s health worsens or he cannot recover, we may have to look at doing whatever it takes to hold on to George John.
Jacobson Andrew M 100,000.00- This is your box to box mid for the next 2-4 seasons. Jacobson is quality and until someone takes his position away from him we should move into next season with him in the starting 11.
John George D 47,250.00- I love George John. George John is wanted here in Dallas. I know everyone wants us to shop him. I say, give one last effort to resign him. Offer him what he wants. Surely, after his loan to West Ham he can see a future here if the price is right. If George chooses to leave, then we have to get something of value in return. Regardless, these talks should be happening now with George. Hell, If George John needs the DFE to take him out on a recruiting visit and show him Dallas through our eyes…we can do that for you FCD!
Lee Alex D 33,756.00- A lot of hype being built around this kid. The thing is, he is a kid. So make a decision to keep him in the reserves and keep growing him or search for a loan. Needless to say, his salary is perfect for what he is right now.
Leyva Bryan M 75,833.33- You know Schellas likes him. I see him being considered more for playing time next season. Which he should be with a salary like that. If not, we HAVE to loan him. He needs to be on the pitch somewhere.
Loyd Zach M 118,600.00- No questions, lock him down for a decade if you can!
Luna Ruben F 84,791.67 -Seeing his price tag with as little as he plays makes it very hard to hang on to him. If there’s nothing but smoke behind his game, we have got to look elsewhere. I don’t see Schellas ever making Luna a regular starter. Just too much money…plus he picked Mexico over the USA. No bueno, Luna!
Marcelin James M 44,000.04- I like him, he’s big, fast, strong, young, and cheap! Surely we don’t drop him? If his contract is up he needs to be willing to accept similar pay as shown here to be kept around. Not only do we need to build a strong starting 11, but we also have to consider depth.
Perez Blas F 309,250.00- Still has 2 or 3 strong years left in him. You keep Blas.
Pertuz Hernan D 84,000.00- Dude is coming on! Making a name for himself and for that pay should be getting the playing time he is getting. Keep him, future guy, and definitely in the rotation.
Rodriguez Carlos D 64,383.00- Left back of the future. Very excited about his contribution this season.
Sanchez Richard GK 45,000.00- I’m sick of hearing about this kid. I know he is amazing, but he is never gonna be our keeper. He still has a lot of years to grow up. Remember, we’re talking about keepers here. Hopefully a club from Mexico (Where this USA kid chose allegiance too) will come calling. Either way FC Dallas better demand a high transfer on this severely Freddy Adu hyped kid.

Sealy Scott F 50,004.00- Eh, maybe he should call it a quits. If not, let him good.
Seitz Chris GK 75,000.00- Keep him as Kevin’s back up. Decent.
Shea Brek M-D 354,000.00- Geez, when did Brek become a head case? “Hey Brek, I still remember your swing and a miss vs. LA in your first season.” Come back to earth man! You have one Job, to score goals. Your job isn’t to throw paint at a poster board or to miss training cause your shooting your 80th Adidas commercial of the season. You think you are frustrated? Well you better believe we are all frustrated with you.
If Brek becomes a problem he needs to go. Yes, I said it…he needs to go. I always thought Brek had the potential but I never bought into the Freddy Adu build up on him.
My opinion, his play this season lost him those big transfer suitors he once had. Yes, could he still go to the bench of a bottom feeder EPL club…maybe. However, wouldn’t he prefer to stick around and be the golden boy here? If Brek gets his head on straight then we should be able to hold on to him for at least 1 more season. Brek, get your head on straight. Come back next season, shine, and then get your huge pay day.
Top Jonathan F 44,100.00 –All I hear about this guy is that he is amazing. I hear this from the players! So what do we have here? Maybe another guy that needs to be loaned out?
Ulloa Victor M 46,500.00- A must loan.
Villar Ricardo M 80,004.00 – Villar still brings a ton of quality to the pitch. I’m not sure if he is in your starting 11, but he should definitely be in the rotation. If Villar is healthy enough to give out one more season, we have to keep him. I remind you, we need depth!
Warshaw Bobby D 57,450.00- Warshaw needs to be back on the pitch. Sadly he got hurt right when he was coming out of the gates. I believe everyone still believes there is a lot of upside for Bobby. Get this guy back on the field! Keeper.
